Obituary Condolences

Robin Paul Quintis completed his earthly journey on Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2013.
Robin worked at Holloman Air Force Base - at the Holloman Inn - for many years. He earnestly enjoyed and took great pride in his work. He spoke often of his love and respect for his co-workers.
Robin was born at Holloman on Aug. 4, 1954. He graduated from Alamogordo High school and attended college classes at the Alamogordo branch of New Mexico State University and at Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska. He earned an associate's degree in information technology. He was really proud to have served on active duty with the United States Army band for three years, where he toured Europe and the U.S., as a musical ambassador playing the trumpet.
Robin was a life-long resident of La Luz. He was a really joyful person with a gentle, kind and gracious spirit. His light sense of humor, gentle nature and easy smile made him a person who knew no strangers.
Robin was preceded in death by his father Jacob J. Quintis, his mother, Frances A. Quintis, is brothers; Jacob J. Quintis III and Stephen E. Quintis.
He is survived by his brother David M. Quintis and wife, of Las Cruces; his sister Catherine M. Quintis-Lynn, husband and three nieces, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and his sister Frances I. Quintis and partner, of Greensboro, N.C.
