Salvador "Chino" Rodriguez Obituary
Salvador "Chino" Rodriguez, 43, of Alamogordo, left to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, where he will rest in peace and be greatly missed.
Salvador was born on June 26, 1966, in Alamogordo to Juan and Maria Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Rodriguez, and two brothers, Elogio S. Rodriguez and Juan S. Rodriguez.
He is survived by his mother, Maria E. Rodriguez, and his immediate family, which are five brothers, Alberto and Sylvia Gonzales, Juan and Dawn Rodriguez, Fernando and Sheryl Rodriguez, Jesus and Liza Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez, all of Alamogordo; and three sisters, Phyllis Rodriguez and William Romero, Leticia and Gregory Gabaldon, all of Alamogordo, and Maria and William Rodriguez, of Kuwait.
Also among his survivors include two brothers, Aniceto and Hortencia Rodriguez, of Alamogordo, and George and Kathy Rodriguez, of Albuquerque; three sisters, Beatrice Garcia, of Nebraska, Caterina Rodriguez, of Alamogordo, and Maria Lovato, of Albuquerque; his loving companion, Cindy Ortega; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much and they also loved their Tio very much.
Everyone who knew Salvador knew him for his open heart, his kindness and his art. Salvador was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back and feed you before he ate. He always welcomed family, friends and strangers into his heart and his home with loving arms. He loved to listen to his oldies music and he loved the Dallas Cowboys. To all who know Salvador, he would want for them to live with a happy and humble heart.

Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10 a.m. in the church with Father Bryant Hausfeld, O.F.M., as celebrant.
