Shayne Lee McNatt Obituary
Shayne Lee McNatt, 17, a lifelong resident of Alamogordo, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012.
Shayne was born Aug. 28, 1994. He was a senior at Alamogordo High School who participated in the local FFA serving as the chapter sentinel. He also participated on the Ag Mechanics judging team, qualifying for the national competition two years in a row while serving as Mr. FFA in 2011. He was also a recipient of the Tiger TKA award at Alamogordo High School in 2012. He enjoyed riding and was learning to rope off of his favorite horse. He also enjoyed hunting and trips to the lake with family and friends. He had a passion for welding and fabricating anything you could think of. He also enjoyed driving his truck that he loved dearly with the music up loud. His life was short, but he never found a challenge that he couldn't accomplish, always full of laughter and bringing a smile to everyone's face and helping out with anything he could.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Carr McNatt.
Survivors include his parents Cal and Leanne McNatt; brother Tay McNatt (fiancee Bobbie Virden); brother Garrett McNatt; twin sister Shawna McNatt; his grandparents Lee and Ann Shaw and Bob and Joan Rollins, all of Alamogordo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
