Sheila E. Healey Obituary
Sheila E. Healey, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, with her son Michael at her side in Louisville, KY. Sheila Eileen Moore was born October 25, 1936, in Palmer, MA, beloved daughter of the late John and Mary (O'Connell) Moore.

Following high school graduation from Hitchcock Free Academy in Brimfield, MA, Sheila met and fell in love with Robert R. Healey, whom she married on August 11, 1956, and the two were inseparable raising their family for 30 years in Enfield, CT. Sheila and Bob enjoyed camping and hosting at many state parks in the United States, particularly Hunting Island, SC, where they were campground hosts for 15 years. After 56 years of marriage, Bob preceded Sheila in death on January 21, 2012, in their retirement home of 20 years in Alamogordo, NM.

Sheila had an easy smile, a twinkle in her eye, an infectious laugh, and she made friends with everyone she met. She was a devout Catholic, attended daily Mass in Alamogordo and more recently in Louisville, and had great faith in God.

Sheila is survived by her sons Michael A. Healey and wife, Mary, of Louisville, and William E. Healey and husband, Marc Kaufman, of Chicago; her daughters M. Patricia Kupchunos of Windsor Locks, CT, and Beth Ann Johnson and husband, Bruce, of Wallingford, CT; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Douglas, Rebecca and Gregory Healey, Katie Ann, Christopher and Daniel Kupchunos, and Patrick and Victoria Johnson; and sister Patricia Haley of Wales, MA.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Community, 1395 Girard Dr., Louisville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sheila's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church Food Pantry, P.O.
