Socorro Torres

Obituary Condolences

Our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend Socorro Torres took Jesus by the hand and went to Heaven on Wednesday Oct. 14, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family who cared for her every need for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio, her son, Hector and her grandson, Eusebio ""Chevito"" Cano.

She is survived by six children, 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She loved good food, getting together with family and watching her novellas.

She will be remembered for her devotion to Christ and the Blessed Mother. Our mother was an amazing, courageous woman who made a difference in the lives she touched throughout her life. She will be dearly missed.
She was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

The Rosary will be recited on Monday Oct. 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. with interment at her husband's side to follow in the Catholic Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be Carlos Torres, Hector Torres, Billy Mirabal, Carlos Aranda, Johnny Cano, Julian Cano, Aurelio Aranda, Michael Torres Jr., and Anthony D'Amico.

We thank all of you for your kindness and prayers.

The Torres family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
