1948 - 2011 Obituary Condolences
We mourn the passing of Thomas "Tom" N. Baskette of Capitan. He was a loving husband, devoted father, indulgent grandfather, great-grandfather and man of God. Born in Warner Robbins, Ga., April 21, 1948, to James and Vivian Baskette, Mr. Baskette proudly served 20 years in the Army.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Leticia Araiza Baskette, their three daughters Veronica Figarola, Amy Baskette and Noybe Rankin, his sisters Quilla Dent, Betty Lee Baskette and his brother Paul Baskette and all of their families. He devoted his life to his family and the serving the Lord.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 11 a.m. to1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home West. In lieu of flowers, there is a memorial set up for him at the church of the Nazarene Camp and Conference Center and Angus Church. Internment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Angus Church at the Bonita Park Nazarene Camp and Conference Center in Capitan.
