Tracy Lynn Provencio Obituary

Tracy Lynn Provencio, 43, was called home to be with the Lord on Jan. 29, 2015.

She was born on Sept. 9, 1971, in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Orlando and Irene Fresquez.
Tracy was very opinionated and straight forward, one who never shied away from speaking her mind. She was Joe's "Rattlesnake" and the rock and strength of the family. Tracy loved spending time with the family at her brother Supie's house having dinners, barbeques, or just hanging out. Tracy loved to work and met countless friends through the years from her days at the "Y", Casa de Suenos, or La Rosa Steakhouse.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Joe Provencio; daughter, Monique Stephens and husband, Hampton; son, Jacob Provencio; the "light of her life" grandson, Kamron Drew Garcia; brother, Anthony "Supie" Fresquez and fiance Ysella Tellez; stepbrother, Rowland Fresquez and wife Syliva; stepsisters, Judy Avelar and husband Manuel, Debbie Martinez and husband Eduardo; nieces, Marissa "Bear" Fresquez, Sophia "Lovey" Fresquez; nephew, Orlando "Pod" Fresquez; "brother from another mother," Bobby "Liver Organ" Otero; and special aunt and uncle, Ramon and Mary Pino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlando and Irene Fresquez and maternal grandparents, Nasario and Flora Garcia.

The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with Father Carlos Espinoza, Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
The family welcomes everyone to the Parish Hall after the graveside service for a dinner to celebrate Tracy's life.
Pallbearers include Bobby Otero, Ramon Pino, Hampton Stephens, Chris Kazhe, Thomas Kazhe and Clint Casares. Honorary Pallbearers are Orlando "Pod" Fresquez, Marissa "Bear" Fresquez, Sphia "Lovey" Fresquez, Kamron Drew Garcia, Geri Moreno, Stacy Ortega Guerra and Helen Chavez.

The Provencio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
