Travis Leon King Obituary
Travis Leon King, 25, went home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, in Las Cruces. He was born July 15, 1986, in Las Cruces. His parents are Brad and Chauntell King, of Cloudcroft.
Travis was beautiful in spirit, was a loving son and brother and will be missed more than words can express.
Survivors include his father and mother, Brad and Chauntell King, of Cloudcroft; his younger brother Luke King, of Cloudcroft; his grandfather and grandmother Warren A. and Fern M. King, of Las Cruces; grandmother Sylvia Kingsbury, of Las Cruces; grandmother Ardith Wilkins, of Las Cruces; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Travis Leon Wilkins I.
The memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Evans officiating.
Pallbearers will include David King, Jim Folan, Warren King, Krystalynn Wilkins, Josh McKinney and Donald Venable. Honorary pallbearers are Jason McKinney and Azure Venable.
Interment will follow at James Canyon Cemetery, east of Cloudcroft.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at Hamilton-O'Dell, 1334 N. Scenic Drive in Alamogordo.
The King Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell to direct the funeral services.
