Obituary Condolences

Our dear mother Virginia Neal passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, the second day of spring, into a beautiful New Mexico sunset. She was 71.
Family members walked into the crisp night air to feel her presence in the sounds of coyotes and birds calling. As the heaviness of the long illness has lifted, we feel her now as an angel watching over us on earth. She was the embodiment of grace and strength, joking and thinking of others right up until the end. Her last hard-fought breaths she used to tell her husband, James Farrell Neal, that she loved him. All of her children are so deeply grateful for our father's love and his steadfastness as a caretaker to our mother for these last years.
She leaves so many family members and friends behind who will miss her deeply and I will list only a few: her daughter Darlin' Neal, of Florida; her sons Jamie, Chris, David and Joey Neal, all of New Mexico; her beloved daughters-in-law Annette and Kathi; and her grandchildren Sara, Jim-Bob, Katie, Jocelyn, Haley, Megan, Sydney, Kaylan, Joseph, Trentin and Michael.
Hers was a life dedicated to children and we know she watches over these grandchildren who were the joys of her life, and her great grandchildren Destyn, Wesley and, most recently, Ivy Blue Virginia Floyd.
She also leaves behind four sisters: Marjorie Loomis, of Georgia, Bell King and Dianne Nations, of Mississippi, and Mary Margaret Metcalf, of New Jersey; and three brothers: Ben Albritton and John Albritton, of Mississippi, and Gordon Albritton, of Alabama.
Her spirit reunites with those who proceeded her in death: her mother and father, Willie B. and Carmen Esco Albritton; her brother Don Albritton; and sister Pat Allen.
