William J. Bishop Obituary
William J. Bishop, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away the morning of Thursday, April 18, 2013.
He was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Lyman, Wyo., and spent most of his long life in New Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Byrl Jean; daughter Patricia and her children; brothers Robert Bishop and Paul Holder, of Lubbock; and the Raley and Milam families.
Mr. Bishop was gentle and handy, a good teacher and storyteller, and will be deeply missed by those whom he loved and cherished.
A graveside service in his memory will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in Tularosa at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, followed by a reception at the Masonic Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Masonic Lodge in Tularosa or the Animal Village Shelter in Alamogordo.
The Bishop family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the services.
