Dr. William M. "Bill" Massa Obituary
Dr. William M. Massa, aka Bill, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, after a short illness. He graduated from Logan Chiropractic College after which he joined the Army stationed in Texas. He taught paramedics during the Vietnam War. He located to Washington state where he worked as a respiratory therapist until opening his own chiropractic clinic. That's where he met Jean Lowry. In 1991 they relocated to Rangely, Colo., where he loved the open land where he could hike and hunt and drive for miles with no fences. He later moved to Tularosa, where he once again met and enjoyed new people and could still hike and hunt in a warmer climate.
He is preceded in death by his father John Massa and mother Lila Cincbox.
He is survived by his sister Melba Mussellman, husband, Dale, nephew Danny Mussellman, all of Morton, Ill., great-nephew Ty Mussellman, and his niece Dannette Mussellman, of Kentucky; sons Del Lowry, wife, Abbi, and first and only grandson Destry, of Ankeny, Iowa, Terrell Lowry and Tori, of Sandy, Utah, and Jacob Lowry-Massa, of Tularosa.
He was much loved and will be missed by many.
