William Mason Obituary

William "Bill" Mason joined his heavenly father on July 19, 2016. Bill was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Beatrice, Neb., to Francis Mason and Beulah Bachel Mason. He was the youngest of six children. Bill started working for cable TV while still in high school in Beatrice, Neb. He was promoted to manager in Pittsburg, Kan., and was then transferred to Alamogordo, N.M., as cable manager in 1972. He retired in 2003. Bill served in the US Army for four years and came from a military family. Bill married Jeralyn "Jeri" Mason, the love of his life, on Sept. 5, 1969. Bill had a sense of humor like no other. He loved to bar-b-que surrounded by his family and friends. He was a very honest, caring and wonderful man. Bill loved the Lord and his Worship Center family.

Bill is survived by his wife Jeri Mason of Alamogordo; his children Todd Mason and Karrie Mason both of Alamogordo; grandchildren Brandon Mason and fiancé Angie, Kaycee Mason, and Taylor Gallagher; great grandchildren Ashton Mason and Branden; his mother-in-law Erma Tenopir; close family friend Gloria Fernandez; Bill's adopted family Chad and Loretta Gallagher and their children Bailey, Alannah and Korie Gallagher, Rebecca Marchand, Courtney and Emerson Morgan; his nephews Steve, Greg, Matt, Mark, Todd and Rick; nieces Kathy, Marti, Sandy and Pam; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Linda and Ruth; and brother-in-law Doc Stephensen.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, his father-in-law, two nieces and three nephews.

Services will be held Friday, August 19, at 10 a.m., at The Worship Center, with Pastor David Crispin officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ben King, Cory Gorby, Allen Gorby, Steve Mason, Greg Mason, John Green, Carl Dickerson & Jim Gulley.

Bill will be missed by so many family and friends.
