Margaret Lindebak Obituary

Margaret R. Lindebak, 85, a former resident of Coralville and Melrose Meadows in Iowa City, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at Maplewood Manor in Keota.
Memorial Services were Thursday, May 24, at Lensing's Oak Hill, Coralville, with Rev. Rebecca Carver will officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.
Margaret was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Elmer and Tillie Ulrich Egli. She was a graduate of Manson High School and worked in a physician's office there. Margaret married Edward Lindebak of LuVerne on Aug. 4, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo. They resided in LuVerne until moving to Coralville in 1983.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Margaret was a devoted wife and mother and was active in her church and community.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Edward, of Keota; one daughter, Dawn Helscher and her husband, Charles, of Keota and their daughters Angela (Nicholas) Brainard and Leslie (Jacob) Olson; one son, Layne Lindebak and his wife, Christina Wehde, and their son, Aaron, all of Des Moines; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Natalie Olson, and her sister-in-law, Helen Egli of Manson.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Helen Junkman and Winford Egli.
