Matthew Lee ""Kumbia"" Gonzalez Obituary
SAN ANTONIO - Matthew Lee Gonzalez "Kumbia", age 35, passed away August 31, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born November 18, 1982 in Alice, Texas to Rolando and Nancy Gonzalez. Matthew was avid Dallas Cowboys fan and had a passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Matthew enjoyed traveling with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rolando Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Frank Cavazos and Lupe Cavazos; paternal grandfather, Jose M. Gonzalez; and father in law, Gonzalo DeLeon.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Annabelle "Bell" Gonzalez of San Antonio; daughter, Aryanna Gonzalez ; son, Elliott Gonzalez both of San Antonio; mother, Nancy Gonzalez of San Antonio; paternal grandmother, Gloria Gonzalez of California; brothers, Mark Gonzalez (Adrianna), Michael Gonzalez (Jessica), and Omar Cantu all of San Antonio; mother-in-law, Emma DeLeon of Alice; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gonzalo DeLeon (Christina), Gilbert DeLeon (Lilly), Edward DeLeon, Brenda Mendez (Mario), Linda Trevino, JoAnn Garcia (Manuel), Robert Hernandez, and Leroy Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 5 till 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Edward DeLeon, Tony Garza, Mark Gonzalez, Michael Gonzalez, Bobby Cavazos, and Hector Chapa.
