Pablo Cantu Gonzales Obituary
PREMONT - Pablo Cantu Gonzales, age 74, passed away September 2, 2018 in Premont surrounded by his family. He was born December 4, 1943 in Tienditas, Texas to Jesus and Gorgonia Gonzales. He served in the United States Army where he was deployed to Germany and Spain. He retired as a surveyor where he worked for numerous construction companies and continued to work after his retirement. He enjoyed the country life, hunting, playing bingo, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Gorgonia Gonzales; sister, Hilda Gonzalez; and brothers, Jesse Gonzalez and Adan Gonzales.

He is survived by his wife, whom have been together for 12 years, Eusebia Zamora of Premont, Texas; son, Pablo Gonzales Jr. (Marcela) of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Valerie Ramos (Matthew) of Parker, Colorado; mother of his children, Virginia Sheffield (Ron) of Venus, Texas; sisters, Consuelo Gamez (Eduardo) of Orange Grove, Texas, Elma Moye (J.D.) of Hurricane, West Virginia, Mary Zwierlein (the late Fred) of Rochester, New York, and Amy Gonzalez of Rochester, New York; grandchildren, Pablo Adan Gonzales and Jesse Alejandro Gonzales; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5 till 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a rosary being held at 7 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at 1 p.m. at Coastal Bend Veterans State Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pablo "P.J." Gonzales, Matthew Ramos, Osbaldo "Oz" Gonzalez, Eduardo "Coco" Gamez III, Will Mokuiki, and Jesus "Londie" Lopez.
