You were so respectful of her wishes and I will always remember her "instructions" towards the end in the hospital as she said to her family, "And I don't want tears, I want a party." What a lady! I'm sure you are missing her, but also enjoying fond memories. She promised me that when we meet again, she will sing to me... I'm looking forward to this reunion. You are in my prayers.... and be happy for Aloha!

The pain of losing someone in death is the most devastating pain that one can feel. May God comfort and soothe your family in this time of need. Psalms 94:19

Words to express my sympathy to you at this time fail me however words to express thankfulness for the love and joy that Aloha brought and gave without reserve to my daughter, her granddaughter, are to numerous for a mere page. She made Melissa feel special as only a grandma can and filled her life and heart with memories that will guide her as someday she too will become a grandma. I watch her interact as a mother and aunt and see reflections of things her grandmother did with her and said to her that she probably doesn't realize came from Aloha. I am so thankful that Melissa was blessed with so many wonderful grandmas to love her but especially for the grandma that called her the queen of her heart. I hope that you find peace and comfort in knowing that Aloha has moved on to the next part of her life and that some day you will be reunited as a family.
