Sorry about the passing of Aunt Itha. I am not able to attend the viewing or the funeral. I have such fond memories of our years growing up especially with Buff, Todd and Clay. God bless.

"Aunt" Itha and "Uncle" Blaine hold many favorites in my life. From the best home to have sleep over at. To the longest drive way in the world. And the one that was the wayyy out on the desert. It was the bestest place to be when Itha was making carmel popcorn. Itha was my favorite elementary teacher's helper and it was the best day in the world when she became the secretary at my junior high! I'll always remember the rides to school when they lived next to us in Moreland. How kindly she taught me about love and loss of a pet, when Candy passed away. She added to the list when married my favorite bishop Charles. Every boo boo ever kissed was magically healed. With my children came "Favorite Grandma Itha". I'm sure I'm not the only non-relative who feels this way. Jana, Julie, and Jolene, thank-you for sharing your mom. Clay and Buff, thanks for sharing your home, and even for the "free" rides down the laundry shoot you may have gotten in trouble for. And the extra visits from Andy Lee and Todd when the Gibson girls were at your mom and dads when you came home. Heaven is a better place now that Itha has returned. Love You All, Dawna Gibson Turman.

Dear Family,
I am sad to hear of Itha's death. She was the best friend to my mother Ruby Evans. She did her hair (and mine too for a long time) for many years. She charged her next to nothing and mother always felt happier after leaving her home. She was a angel here on earth. Cherrill Evans Dygert
