Kathryn (Kathy) Wilson (Worden) went home to her Heavenly Father peacefully in her home in Blackfoot, Idaho at the age of 71.
Kathy was born April 3, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia to Charles and Sarah Worden. She married Alvin Wayland in 1963 with whom she had 4 children. They later divorced and after several years she met and married Norm Wilson in 2008.
Kathy lived in many places including Salmon and Blackfoot, Idaho.
Kathy worked at Basic American Foods for many years. Kathy enjoyed the potlucks and camaraderie at Basic American Foods. Kathy met the daughter of her heart, Donna (Keith) Christensen of Blackfoot while working there.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, her beloved daughter "Cissy" Wayland and son, Rusty Wayland.
Kathy is survived by her two sons, Scott Wayland, of Alaska, and Todd (Mandy) Wayland, of Blackfoot, Idaho. Kathy had 11 grandchildren, Deja, Kloiah, Elisa, Matt, Lacey, Corey, Alysia, Stormy, Rainie, Randee, Sarah, and T.J. Kathy also has 18 great-grandchildren.
Kathy will be cremated and a Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m at her son, Todd's residence located at 1098 W highway 39 in Blackfoot. At her request, it will be an informal potluck as she always loved the potlucks at B.A.F. Bring your favorite foods and memories.
