Amador Hernandez-Luna Obituary
Amador Hernandez-Luna, 36, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016.
He was born March 27, 1979 in Indio, California, the son of Salvador Rosalez Luna and Petra Hernandez Luna.
He attended grade school in Indio, California. In 1991 he moved to Blackfoot with his mother and three brothers, where he continued his education. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Amador was loyal, free spirited and a daring kind of guy. Growing up, you would always see the four boys together causing some kind of mischief. He enjoyed playing basketball, lifting weights, boxing, MMA and through the years developed his talent with art. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his many friends, cousins, brothers, nieces, nephews and especially his daughter and mother. He will always be remembered singing at the top of his lungs, his oldies but goodies.
He is survived by a daughter, Anaya Isabel Luna of Blackfoot; mother, Petra Luna of Indio, California; brothers, Salvador Jr (Noelia) Luna, Saul Luna, Santos (Mackie) Luna; nieces, Anicia, Angel, Amaya, Zoe, Ali, Camilla and Jessie Sophia Luna and nephews Jayden, Saul Jr, Tiago and Salvador Ayden Luna, all of Blackfoot.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Dionisio Ramirez Sr, Cirildo Garza Sr, Pedro Ramirez Jr and Joe Hernandez.
A funeral mass in memory of Amador will be celebrated at 10 a.m on Saturday, March 12, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Blackfoot. A rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home on Friday evening. Following the rosary the family will continue to meet with friends until 9 p.m.
Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
