Annette Bono Grimmett Obituary
Annette Bono Grimmett, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at Rosetta Assisted Living in Pocatello.
She was born Oct. 13, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Lester Tracy and Kizziah Anna Belnap Tracy.
She attended grade school at Ucon Elementary and graduated from Bonneville High School.
Annette married Richard Wayne Bono on March 16, 1962. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. He preceded her in death in 1986.
In her early years, Annette and Richard traveled to various locations with the Navy including South Carolina.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including in the Primary and the Relief Society Presidency.
She worked in a dry-cleaning shop where she met Richard. She was also a custodian for many years for the LDS Church. Annette was an amazing seamstress and quilter. She also greatly enjoyed gardening.
On March 4, 1989 Annette married Gary Grimmett in Idaho Falls.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; sons Richard Jr. (Lisa) of Shelley; James (Lynette) of Fairfield, Nebraska; John (Leciel) of Aberdeen; Tracy (Sarah) of Grant; Daniel (Fay) of Helena, Montana; Lake (Rachel) Grimmett, Moreland; Will (Kay) Grimmett of Moreland. Daughters Catherine (Ryan) Benson of Nampa; Suzanne (Jacob) Comstock of Pocatello; Frances (John) Shelton of Moreland and Randa (Brian) Kress of Blackfoot; sisters Carrol (Roy) Hill of Sugar City; Sharlene Malone of Phoenix, Ariz. and Susan (Gerry) Hodges of Shelley; 33 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; her parents; brother, Wilford Tracy and sister Deborah Williams.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, and again for one hour prior to services at the church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Blackfoot Northwest LDS Stake Center, 740 W. 100 N.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Primary Children's Hospital.
