Annunziata "Nancy" DeGiuli Obituary
Annunziata "Nancy" DeGiuli, 88, of Pingree, Idaho passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot from complications due to cancer.
She was born March 26, 1928 in Castro dei Volsci, Italy to Francesco DeSantis and Pasqualina DeGiuli. She was raised and received her education in Castro dei Volsci.
On March 18, 1951 Nancy married Dante DeGiuli in Castro dei Volsci, Italy. They had two sons, Nick and Danilo, and daughter, Oleva.
On Aug. 16, 1969, she immigrated to the United States with her family, settling in Pingree, Idaho.
She was an active member of the Roman Catholic Church, and was one of the initial supporters of St. John's Catholic Mission in Pingree.
Nancy was a huge advocate for the Relay For Life.  She was well known for her pasta, bread and cookie making skills. 
She was a great cook and always concerned if everyone had gotten enough to eat.
She worked at J.R. Simplot in Aberdeen and enjoyed working potato harvest for Lee J. Spackman and Murdock & Wasia Farms. 
In her free time she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. Her favorite past time was being with family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Nick (Tina) DeGiulio of Pingree and Danilo (Tina) De Giuli of Pocatello; daughter, Oleva (Steve) Blessinger of Blackfoot; sisters, Lucia Martini of Basingstoke, England and Maria (Giuseppe) Rossi of Castro dei Vosci, Italy; eight grandchildren, Giulio (Danika) DeGiulio and Daniel (Lexcie) DeGiulio of Pocatello, Nicole (John) Rausch of West Jordan, Utah,  Erica Blessinger of Boise, Maresa Blessinger of Pasadena, Calif., Calen Blessinger of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Cristina De Giuli of Pocatello, and Adriana De Giuli of Seattle, Wash.; 10 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren with one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dante, her parents; brothers, Giulio De Santis and Enrico De Santis; and grandson, Michael Joe De Giuli.
A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. 
The family will meet with friends and relatives until 8:30 p.m. following the Rosary. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 584 W Sexton in Blackfoot. 
Interment will follow services at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
