Anthony Neil Jim Jr. Obituary
Anthony Neil Jim, Jr., 38, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Sept. 27, 1977 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Anthony Neil Jim, Sr. and Ilene Karen Osborne.
Anthony received his education at Fort Hall Elementary, Hawthorne Junior High and Sho-Ban High schools.
Anthony was raised by his grandfather, Enos Osborne, and Aunt, RosaLynda Osborne.
He worked as a cook at Shoshone Bannock Hotel and Event Center.  He enjoyed singing Indian songs, football, wrestling and basketball.
He is survived by his companion, Leta "Avis" Pooengerah of Fort Hall; mother, Ilene Karen Osborne (Dextar Navo);  daughter, Sikiyia Jim and son, Charles Pooengerah;  brothers, Slade Galloway, Otis Osborne, Squeeks Osborne, Chris Osborne, Steve Harney, Vaughn Harney, Kevin Yazzie, Ryan Yazzie, Lyle Yazzie, Graylund Osborne; sisters, Carlee Osborne and Erikka Osborn; nieces Akasha Galloway, A'Lera Galloway, nephews, Larsen Galloway and Sayveen Galloway; Uncles, Erick Osborne, Deland Osborne, Sr., Brian Jim, Sherman, Aaron and Rulon Poog; Aunts, RosaLynda Osborne, Ella Harney, Sarah Alvarez, Rhoda Poog and Tippey Poog, Corrine Pocitilla; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins; grandparent Colleen Teton, Sandy and Kenneth Todd, Emaline George and Adaline Matsaw.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Neil Jim, Sr., brother Kim Osborne, Sr., grandparents Enos and Marian Osborne, grandmother, Luana Jim, grandfather, Henry Jim, Uncles, Hugh and Jay Osborne, Stanley, Clayton, Edward and Everett Jim, Aunts, Heneritta McCoy, Latisha Jim and cousin, Sonya Jim.
His body will be taken to the home of RosaLynda Osborne, 96 Stock Trail Rd. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. and remain there until a prayer service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 also held at RosaLynda Osborne's home, 96 Stock Trail Rd.
A burial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Cedars Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
