Arlene Sharon Lopez, 78, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at her home surrounded by family.?
She was born Nov. 18, 1939 in Fort Hall to Alfred Sam Kutch and Edna LaVatta. She grew up and lived in Fort Hall and attended Blackfoot High School. 
On July 4, 1960, she married Marcelino 'Chalo' Lopez in Fort Hall. Together they enjoyed over 56 years of marriage.
She attended the church at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Mission Church.?
Sharon wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty and was a very hard-working wife and mother. She drove truck for M&M Farms, worked for Sun Spice Potato, ran the Fort Hall Daycare. She was the manager at T.P. Gas and worked for more than 20 years at the Fort Hall Casino where she retired in 2010.
She had a very kind heart and loved looking out for others' needs. She started a Secret Santa program with the help of Mike Sakelaras which is still helping families today.
She is survived by her children, John (Julie) Kutch, Junior (Kathy) Lopez, "Cricket" Lopez, Alfredo J. (Wendy) Lopez, Linda Adella Lopez, Rodney (Iona) Blackhawk, Jr., Ryan (Natalie) Blackhawk, Squeeks (Christel) Osborne all of Fort Hall; brother, Carl Kutch, of Pocatello, sisters, Mary (Robert) Lopez, Linda Kutch, Myrna Cotton and Ramona Moss, 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chalo, her parents, daughters, Antonia Blackhawk, Rodney Blackhawk, Sr., Gaudalupe Lopez, sisters Henrietta Rodriguez, Diana Kutch and Hazel Roubidoux, sister-in-law, Sylvia Alvarado, brothers Milton Kutch, Jargo Roubidoux and Sammy Kutch brother-in-law Ricardo Lopez and one great-grandchild.
Her body will be taken to the family residence at 558 C. Ave., Fort Hall on Monday morning Jan. 29. A prayer service will be held Wednesday Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. Blackfoot.
Following the prayer service, she we will be taken back out to the family residence. A sunrise service will be held Thursday morning Feb. 1 at her home. A funeral service will follow at noon at Timbee Hall with a traditional burial service to follow at the Parker-Kutch Cemetery.
Family will gather for a viewing one hour prior to the service at Timbee Hall.
