Arnold Capson Obituary
Arnold Leon Capson passed away on Oct. 4, 2017, while hospitalized. Arnold is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty, their son, Bryant, (Sara), their grandchildren Milligan, Griffin, Bennett Capson, Mathew and Christopher Kiker, by two sisters, Nelda Richards of Perris, Ca, Joann Stewart (Chuck) of Blackfoot, and brother, Lloyd (Darleen) of Jacksonville, AL, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arnold was born in Ely, Nevada and moved to Blackfoot at age 2. At 14 he began learning beekeeping and was a successful beekeeper until retiring in 2010.
He moved himself and bees to California a few months after meeting his future wife, Betty Helton. They were married on Oct. 2, 1965. They had two sons, Bruce, deceased in 2002, and Bryant, residing in Visalia, Calif.
Arnold loved his backyard garden, and fishing, hunting and camping in Idaho.
Service will be held Saturday Oct. 21, 2017, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 So. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, at 10 a.m. with graveside service following.
