Bette Jean Morrow Maupin Obituary
Bette Jean Morrow Maupin, 84, of Moreland, Idaho, passed away on June 14, 2017 peacefully at home.
Bette was born in Dayton, Ore. on Dec. 1, 1932. She moved to Granite and Baker, Oregon and was raised by her grandparents, Guy and Briece Allen.
She married Lorrie Jacovac and lived in Salmon, Idaho for many years. After Lorrie's death she married Clarence Schultz. On July 21, 1977 she married Duane Maupin and moved to Moreland, Idaho.
Bette is survived by her husband, Duane; seven children, Steve Schultz; Ramona (Michael) Olsen; Larry (Debbie) Schultz; Doug (Diane) Jacovac; Jimmy Schultz; Desiree (Eric) Hale; Sky (Laura) Schultz; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Billy Hanks.
Bette is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard J Becker Morrow and Mary Elizabeth Allen-Morrow, husband, as well as her brothers Edward Bud Morrow, and Jimmy Morrow.
She loved traveling, sight seeing, fishing, hunting, bowling, cooking and playing slot machines. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 17 at the Riverside LDS Church, 7 N 700 W, Blackfoot, Idaho. with Bishop Ron Capson officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. prior to funeral services and on Friday 6-8 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, Idaho. Burial will follow the funeral at Moreland Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hawker Funeral Home.
