Charyl Kay Price Obituary
Charyl Kay Price, 76, of Pocatello, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home.
Charyl was born July 4, 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona to Leo Hunter Cordon and Ida Edington Cordon. 
She attended grade school in Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School. She attended Rick's College, Utah State University and Idaho State University to obtain a  Master's degree in Special Education. 
On May 25, 1962 Charyl married Wilford John Price in the Idaho Falls Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple. 
Charyl taught school in Moreland Riverside specializing in Special Education for 20 years. 
She was a member of the LDS and faithfully served in the auxiliaries of the Church. She and her husband John, served a mission in England. 
Charyl was a regular volunteer with the Special Olympics. In her free time she enjoyed gardening with her husband, they were known for their strawberries. Charyl was an avid reader, and accomplished seamstress making many of her children's clothing.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John, of Pocatello; daughters, Kerri (Ed Jr.) Wagner, of Blackfoot, Idaho, Kristi Funk, of Boise, Idaho, Lesli (Matt) Wray of Malad, Idaho, Mindi (Merrill) Quayle of Pocatello, Idaho and Jodi Stacey of Pocatello, Idaho; sons, Kenny (Veronica) Price of Blackfoot, Idaho, David (Alex) Price of Tyhee, Idaho; brother Jack (Pat) Cordon of St. Anthony, Idaho; 31 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. 
Charyl was preceded in death by her parents Leo, and Ida; brothers, LeRoy Cordon, Gary Cordon, and twin brother Daryl Cordon; and sister Jill Moldenhauer. 
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Blackfoot South Stake Center, 900 Riverton Road.
Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at Hawker Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Sugar City Cemetery at 3 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
