Damon Leonard Orr Obituary
Damon Leonard Orr, 50, of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home from an apparent heart attack.
He was born July 9, 1967 in Montpelier, Idaho, to Marvin Leonard and Adelia Marie Ward Orr. Damon attended elementary school in New Mexico, Colorado and Idaho. 
He graduated from Lake Havasu High School in Arizona. After graduating from the Electrical Instrumentation Program at ISU Vo Tech, he joined the Electrical Apprenticeship Program through the JATC Local 449 and became a journeyman electrician.
On April 16, 1987, Damon married Delis Louise Page Heady, making their home in the Blackfoot area. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 17, 1988.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has served as a counselor in the Stake Young Men's Presidency and active in the Scouting Program.
Damon had worked at Wheeler Electric and was not content to work for someone else. He started Elite Electrical Contractors, Inc. Which, he owned and operated for 16 years.
Damon was a hard worker and devoted father and no matter how busy he was, he would drop anything to help someone in need. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping and surfing. His most important interest was his family, especially his kids and grandkids.
Damon is survived by his wife, Delis Page, of Blackfoot; his children: Andrea Heady (Adam) St. Clair of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kelsey (Kelton) Jenkins of Blackfoot, and Spencer (Shaylyn) Orr of Blackfoot; his parents, Marvin and Marie Orr of Moreland; sister, Kathleen Schinnell of Provo, Utah; brothers: Eric (Michelle) Orr of Moreland, Bryon Orr of Boise, Chad (Janeil) Orr of Pocatello and five grandchildren: Sydnee, Avery, and Draeger Jenkins and Wesley and Calvin St. Clair.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dalton Leonard Orr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15 at the Blackfoot Northwest LDS Stake Center. 
The family will greet friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Hawker Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to services at the church.
