Daniel D. Verwolf Obituary
Daniel D. Verwolf, of Blackfoot, passed away, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello.
Dan was born June 24, 1948 in Manhattan, Montana to Joseph P. Verwolf and Elizabeth G. Verwolf.
Dan graduated from Manhattan High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Montana State in Criminology. He lived in Manhattan, Montana before making his home in Blackfoot. Dan served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post 23 and the Blackfoot Elks Lodge #1416. He was also a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
In his free time he enjoyed reading and fishing.
Dan is survived by his son, David (Kendra) Verwolf of Cookville, TX; brothers, William Joseph (Helen) Verwolf of Coeur d'Alene, ID and Nick Steven (Carolyn) Verwolf of Bellevue, WA; and three grandchildren, Eric, Kaylin and Brent.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Verwolf.
