Darrin Wheeler Obituary
Darrin James Wheeler, 51, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at Bingham Memorial Hospital from an apparent heart attack. 
Darrin was born Feb. 16, 1965 in Van Nuys, California and at 1 day old he was adopted by Larry and Gwen Wheeler. He was raised in Blackfoot, graduating from Snake River High School in 1983 and then attended Rick's College.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in Florida.
On August 18, 1994 he married Gina Maria Wasia in Blackfoot.
Darrin started farming with his father and completed his life farming with his sons.
In his free time, he enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling. His greatest love was his family. He enjoyed being together for Sunday dinners.
Darrin is survived by his wife, Gina; sons, Taylor Short, Logan (Heather) Wheeler and Braiden Wheeler all of Blackfoot; foster brother, Bee (Mia) Lor of Fresno, California; and foster sister, Loretta (Chris) Turner of Centerville, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his parents Larry and Gwen Wheeler; sister, Leslie Ann Dance; brother, Steven L. Wheeler and grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Moreland Cemetery with Bishop Brad Adams conducting.
The family will meet with friends and relatives Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 9 and again on Wednesday from 11-11:45 a.m. before proceeding the the Moreland Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to the family online atwww.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
