Debra Bond Obituary
Debra "Debbie" Carol Rupe Bond, 62, passed away August 2, 2015 in Tempe, Arizona.
Debra was born on June 29, 1953 to Vaughn and Carol Rupe and was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho.
She married Danny Arthur Bond in 1970 and they had four children together. They moved the family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987.
Debra especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was happiest with her children and grandchildren around her. She had a very unique way of making others feel special with her thoughtful and caring personality.
A few of Debra's favorite things to do were watching her sons and grandsons play baseball (she spent many hours on the bleachers!), teaching water aerobics, playing Uno and especially talking on the telephone. Debra loved all of her dogs in her life, but Marcel held a very special place in her heart – and she for him as well.
We will miss her sense of humor, her beautiful voice, phone calls, stories, cards, laugh and caring touch.
Debra was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Danny, of 45 years; her mother, Carol Rupe, of Blackfoot; four children, Danette D'Anna of Boise, Idaho; David Bond of Mesa, Ariz.; Heather Johnson of Coronado, Calif.; and Ryan Bond of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Douglas Rupe, Kevin (Jana) Rupe , both of Blackfoot and Karl (Jeanette) Rupe of Boise; nine grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the care provided by the caregivers of the Friendship Village Hospice and the members of the LDS Church in Tempe, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to:
