Doyle G. Marshall Obituary
Doyle G. Marshall, 75, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born February 5, 1940 at Rigby, Idaho, to William Wiley and Alta Eleanor Hayes Marshall. He was the fifth child in a family of six.  He attended school in Rigby, Rexburg and Idaho Falls. He attended Weltech College to obtain his electrician's license.
Doyle served in the United States Army.
On November 27, 1959 he married Illa Hansen at Teton, Idaho. In August 2000 their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Doyle was a member of the Elks Lodge 1416 and the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post #23.
Doyle worked as an electrician and salesman for Spudnik for 35 years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, hunting and riding snowmobiles.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Ila; his daughter, Amber (Robin) Baker of Blackfoot; his son, Travis Marshall of Caldwell; six grandchildren, Cameron Baker, Jason Baker, Derek Baker, Anthony Marshall, Ashley Marshall, Kaitlyn Marshall, one great grandchild, LaCele Eldridge and two brothers, Neldon (Verda) Marshall of Shelley and Don (Ann) Marshall of Rigby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Terry Marshall and two sisters, Marleen Hanson and ReNae Faler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Blackfoot LDS Stake Center, 1650 Highland Drive, Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Hawker Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery. Condolences  may be sent to: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
Military honors will be presented by the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post#23.
