Elaine James Bjornberg Obituary
Elaine James Bjornberg, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and friend passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Elaine was born June 26, 1930 to Abraham Thomas (AT) James and Rose Magdalina Hirschi James.
She married Arthur Richard (Dick) Bjornberg on March 21, 1951 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple. She worked at Kings Department Store as a book keeper before their marriage and at the local banks for a short time after. Most of her time was devoted to family and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she had numerous callings. She loved serving others and especially loved playing with children. Her smile would light up a room. 
Elaine is survived by two brothers; Thomas Vea (Donna) James and Don (Margaret Anne) James; children: Linda Bjornberg, Steven (Laurel) Bjornberg, Clifford (LouAnn) Bjornberg, Diane Bjornberg, JoAnne Bjornberg, John (Lorna) Bjornberg, Todd (Jackie) Bjornberg: 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many other loving nephews, nieces and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her sweetheart, Dick Bjornberg, her father Abraham, mother Rose, brother Glenn, sisters Cleah, Maurine and Ruth, and her granddaughter Amanda. 
Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff at Lincoln Court in Idaho Falls for the kindness and care provided to our mother.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Blackfoot South Stake Center, 900 Riverton Rd. Blackfoot ID 83221. Friends may call at the Hawker Funeral Home of Blackfoot, 132 S. Shilling Ave. Blackfoot ID 83221, Friday, December 9 from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
