Frances Ruth Cox Street Obituary
Frances Ruth Cox Street passed away Aug. 18, 2017, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Frances was born Jan. 18, 1953, to Verl and Patricia Cox of Shelley, Idaho.
Frances graduated from Shelley High School in 1971 and attended Eastern Idaho Technical College in 1976.
Frances worked in several different places, including the INL, Argonne National Laboratories, the automotive parts business, was co-owner of an automobile repair business and worked in the legal document processing field. Frances was retired at the time of her death.
Whether it was while working, camping, driving a dirt track stock car, giving country dance lessons or chilling at home with her family, it was the "visiting with family and friends" portion of those activities, especially with her children, which gave Frances the greatest joy of life. She was a kind person who enjoyed dance, humor, silly to serious conversations and good books.
Frances was preceded in death by her father, Verl Cox, and brother, Roger Cox.
Frances is survived by her son, Steven Arpin; daughter, Kyndra Barlow; granddaughter, Chloe Rice; mother, Pat Cox; and siblings, Deborah (Leslie) Frank, Ted (Stacey) Cox, Van Cox and Kelley Cox.
Frances, our dear daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, we will never forget your beautiful and kind smile. Part of us went with you the day God called you home.
A brief graveside service at the interment of ashes will be held Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. at Firth Riverview Cemetery, 810 W. River Road, just outside of Firth, Idaho, followed by a celebration of Frances' life at Bethel Lutheran Church, 413 N. Main St., in Firth.
