Janice Lorraine Weikert, 76, of Blackfoot,Idaho was called home by Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Jan was born September 18, 1939 to Helen Hill and Clyde Taylor in Billings, Montana. When she was little, her nickname was "Hot Cake".
Her time on earth was filled with the love of her life, Donald Jay Weikert of 57 years. They were married December of 1958 in Coeur d'alene, Idaho. They had three children, Timothy Jay Weikert, Kevin Lee Weikert and Cheridawn Overdorf.
She was respected and loved by all that met her. Her bright blue snappy eyes captivated anyone that had the pleasure to meet her. Her genuine love of people and animals was evident throughout her life.
She was an accomplished stain glass artist in Japan with a God given talent in art. We will miss her terribly, but will remember her warm love she offered all.
She was an Eucharistic Minister with the Catholic Church and was a CNA in Michigan. Her favorite profession was being a wife and mother.
Mom, we wait for the day we get to see you again. Thank you for the special gift of your love.
