Jerry Barrington Obituary
Jerry Barrington, 71, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016.  
Jerry was born May 17, 1945 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Charles Robert Barrington and Emaline Nelson Barrington.  
He married Karan Ann Robinson Fallis. They were blessed with five children before they divorced. He married Susan Bullock Barrington, they were also later divorced.
He worked at Kraft Foods, in construction helping built the Riverside Plaza, for the State of Idaho, in agriculture services into the 70's earning the State a "Brucellosis Free" status, owned a cell phone business, worked in auto sales and for Blackfoot Motor. After his first stoke forced his retirement, he continued to create his own business opportunities, selling vegetables and crafts that he and his family built.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, watching big game in the mountains and hunting. He found his greatest joy watching the accomplishments of his grandchildren, in and out of the rodeo arena.
Jerry is survived by his children, Tony Joe (Deby) Barrington of Blackfoot, Idaho, David L. (Candi) Barrington of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Bonnie Marie (Kevin) Lundquist of Rigby, Idaho and Kristen LeAnne Barrington of Pocatello; sister, Shirlene (Chuck) Lewis of Pocatello, Idaho; and four grandchildren, Makenzie Jo Barrington, Ryne Lee (Brooke) Barrington, Ashlee Marie Barrington and Catherine Marie Barrington.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Brenda Gaye Barrington.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 and for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery in Rigby. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
