Julia (Baumgartner) Lindsay Obituary
Julia Baumgartner Lindsay, 42, of Smithfield, Utah and formerly of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Logan Regional Hospital from a valiant fight with cystic fibrosis.

Julia was born May 19, 1972 in American Fork, Utah to Gary and Alice Wyrouck Baumgartner. She spent time as a child in Idaho Falls, and later moved to Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1990, where she was Senior Class President and school mascot. She continued on to attend college at C.S.I., I.S.U. and Rick's College.

On December 20, 1991 Julia married the love of her life and best friend, Kyle Lindsay in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Julia was a devoted wife and mother. She loved watching her children playing in different sporting events, going out with friends, gardening and boating. Julia will be best remembered for her service and willingness to help others. She had an optimistic attitude and infectious smile. Everyone she met, she became best friends with. Spreading joy and happiness was always her intention.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Savior with all her heart.

Julia is survived by her husband, Kyle; children, Cole and Ellie all of Smithfield, Utah; parents, Gary and Alice Baumgartner of Blackfoot, Idaho; and sister, Frannie Baumgartner.

She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, LaRaine Lindsay; uncle, Bob Baumgartner; grandpa, Robert H. Baumgartner; grandma, Frances Baumgartner; aunt, Joanne Risdal; and many special "Cysters" and "fiBro's" from Cystic Fibrosis Camp.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors that cared for Julia throughout her lifetime. She truly was grateful for their care and compassion.

A viewing in Utah will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Smithfield LDS Chapel, 625 E 600 S in Smithfield, Utah. A viewing in Idaho will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot, Idaho and for one hour prior to services at the Blackfoot LDS Stake Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Blackfoot LDS Stake Center, 650 Highland Drive in Blackfoot. Interment will follow services at the Grove City Cemetery.
