Linda Morgan Obituary
Linda Morgan, 76, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Gables Assisted Living.
Linda was born on June 28, 1941 in Rigby, Idaho to Roderick Delbert and Enid Dabell Mattson.
Linda married Merrill LeGrande Morgan on January 2,1959. Together they had three children; Glenna, Kevin and Colleen. Linda and LeGrande were later divorced.
She graduated early from Blackfoot High School and worked as a Lab Tech at Basic American Foods. She also worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Morris. She lived in Pocatello, then moved to Chubbuck, then moved to Blackfoot in 1952 where she lived for the remainder of her days.
Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, sewing, cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was extremely devoted to her family. She was always there for them when they needed her.
Linda is survived by her children, Glenna Jo (David C) of Pingree, Kevin Lee (Lisa) Morgan of Blackfoot, Colleen (Alan) Tsukamoto of Blackfoot; her brothers Gale (Jeanne) Mattson of Idaho Falls, and Brian (Lori) Mattson from Blackfoot; her longtime friend and companion, Ed Wagner; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roderick and Enid; her longtime friend and companion of 18 years, Ted Findlay; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Morgan.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Hawker Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 6:30-7:30 at Hawker Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the funeral services. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Firth, Idaho.
