LueDean Williams Obituary
LueDean Williams, 87, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home with loving family members by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born February 17, 1929 in Lewisville, Idaho to Charles Melvin Wright and Hilda V. Erickson Wright. LueDean was third of eleven children. She grew up in Lewisville and graduated from Midway High School. Shortly after graduation she moved to Idaho Falls and worked for KID Radio as a secretary/receptionist. On August 17, 1949 she married Max A. Williams in Lewisville, Idaho. They lived in Idaho Falls for a short time after their marriage. In 1950, they moved to Blackfoot where she and Max raised their family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. Upon her retirement LueDean and Max spent their winters in Apache Junction, Arizona and most of their summers in Star Valley, Wyoming while maintaining their home in Blackfoot.  In her free time she enjoyed camping, fishing with her grandchildren, golfing, and traveling. She especially liked to go shopping and go out for lunch. Her favorite times included being with her family and grandkids.
LueDean is survived by her sons, Laurie Max (Kathleen) Williams, of Irwin, ID; Gregory Rex (Beth) Williams, of Paul, ID; daughter, Valerie (Randy Gwynn) Williams, of Pocatello, ID; brothers, Don A. (Donna) Wright, of Richardson, TX; Bob (Beverly) Wright, of Pocatello, ID; Carl (Julie) Wright, of Palisades, ID; sisters, LaRene (Craig) Keele, of Hagerman, ID; Carol Toomer, of Rigby, ID; Jackie (Calvin) Pabst, of Coeur d'Alene, ID; Peggy (Cliff) Edwards, of Clark, ID; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
From 2-4 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 following a private family service, the family would like to invite friends and family to the Williams' home, 490 W. Highway #39, Blackfoot, ID. The family would also like to extend their deep appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Eastern Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1810 Moran Street, Idaho Falls, ID, 83401. Condolences may be sent to the family online at: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
