Mary E. Novasad

Mary E. Novosad, 79, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home.  
Mary was born on March 20,1935 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Joseph F. Jorgensen and Elizabeth Lawrence.  
She was raised in Blackfoot.  
On July 12, 1958 Mary married John Paul Novosad.
She worked at American Potato for many years as a potato sorter.  In her free time she enjoyed her children, grandchildren, gardening, fishing, and camping.
Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Brent Jorgensen and Billy Joe Novosad, both of Blackfoot; daughters, Thad Alene Wagner of Colorado and Ellen Marie Parris of Blackfoot; brother, Bob Jorgensen of Pocatello; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Paul; brother, Joe Jorgensen; sisters, Joyce Jorgensen Halts and Betty Louise Jorgensen; and infant brother; and a great-grandson, Hunter Dakota.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2105 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.  Family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at the Grove City Cemetery.
