Myrna Jean Smith, 73, of Riverside, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Myrna was born January 12, 1944 in Rexburg, Idaho, to LeRoy and Olive M. Westover Smith. Her family lived in Rexburg until she was six, at which time they moved to Groveland and then to Riverside. She graduated from Snake River High School in 1963.

She enjoyed taking pictures, photography, genealogy, family history, watching western movies and spending time with family. All of her nieces and nephews were like her children.  She always remembered birthdays and anniversaries. Some of her favorite times were spent camping, fishing, huckleberrying and collecting dolls.
Myrna is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Bates of Twin Falls, Fern Reid of Rexburg, Brenda Myers and Glenda Howe both of Idaho Falls; her chosen daughter Karri Penoyer; three chosen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Myrna's family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Emcompass Home Health and Hopice Staff for all the loving care given to Myrna and her family.
