Paula Mildon Obituary
Our beloved Paula passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday Dec. 20, 2016. She was born July 23, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. She was the first daughter of four children of Eugene and Norma Stuart and attended Lincoln Elementary, Highland Jr. High and Ben Lomond High School.
Her career took her to companies such as Sierra Lingerie, Cutler Laboratories, Hercules Aerospace, Max Factor and Iomega Corporation. She furthered her education by becoming a medical assistant which enabled her to work in several medical offices.
She loved working with people and assisting them with their cardiac and vision needs. Throughout her career she made many lifelong friends. Later in life, she was reacquainted with her childhood friend, Terry Mildon. They married on May 17, 2008 and lived in Blackfoot, Idaho.
She enjoyed serving as the mutual sports director and camp director in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of her interests included rodeo, music, yard work, camping trips and filling up her bird feeders for the squirrels.
She was an accomplished pool player and was enthusiastic about all things football. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats.
Her profound dedication to family often found her serving siblings, nieces and nephews. We have all benefitted from her generosity.
She is survived by her mother Norma Jean Allen Stuart, Harrisville; one sister Becky (Mike) Saunders, North Ogden; two brothers Eugene Jr. (LaRae) Stuart, Pleasant View; Allen Stuart, Soda Springs, Idaho; and a host of nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and a god daughter.
She is also survived by Terry's children Lisa (Les) Bartausky, Kellie (Vance) Knight, Valerie (Ian) Olson, Scott (Mandi) Mildon and his 13 grandchildren whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Mildon, father Eugene Stuart Sr. and step daughter, Mellany McBride.
A viewing will be held on Thursday Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, located at 132 South Shilling Avenue, Blackfoot. Paula will be laid to rest next to her husband Terry at the Grove City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to her Idaho Wapello Ward members for the many hours of care and concern shown for Terry and Paula.
Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
