Rebecca Jo Perrenoud Obituary
Rebecca Jo Perrenoud, 50  born to Jack and Louina Newsome June 22, 1967, left her earthly life on Thursday September 14, 2017 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Rebecca "Miss Becca," "Becky" was beautifully unique, gifted, and brilliant to say the least. She was born in Pocatello and grew up in Orofino and Riverside in Blackfoot.

She worked at the Blackfoot Swimming pool from 1980-87 as a lifeguard, water safety instructor and taught swimming lessons. She graduated from Snake River High School in 1984, and then married Bob Solinsky in September of that year. They began their family in 1986 and had three children, Shauny, Bron and Stetson. She raised her children while caring for other children running a home daycare. They later divorced.
Rebecca earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Counseling and worked at Blackfoot Medical Clinic in the HMR Diet and Nutrition Program. Rebecca continued her education and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Social Work, and later a Clinical License in Social Work.
She worked for the Blackfoot Medical Clinic, J&M Mental Health, Bingham Memorial Extended Care Facility, as well as Children's Supportive Services. She co-founded, and was CEO of A to Z Family Services, Inc. where she was the Clinical Director of Mental Health, Executive Director of Life Skills Case Management, Drug Court Treatment Provider and Supervisor, CARF Accreditation Team Leader, AACT Committee Member, Domestic Violence Treatment and Clinical Supervisor, Trauma Sensitive Treatment Provider, EMDR and IBSR, Behavioral Health Board Member for Region 7, Peer Support Steering Committee for Eastern Idaho. She obtained many other supervisory roles, created programs, and held many other certifications. She loved her career and devoted herself to helping families. "Standing for the little, the lost, and the lonely" she was brilliantly sharp, humble, and always, always kind.
While establishing her career, Rebecca met  Robert "Bob" Perrenoud at a church dance and they were married in March 2003. They combined their families and resided in Blackfoot.
Her biggest joys were times spent with her family and learning. She loved spending time with her kids, traveling with her husband, and taking her grandkids for weekend adventures teaching them about the world.
She looked forward to planning memorable family outings and gatherings, which she did so, often.  She took great interest in experiencing cultures, and included others to learn with her. She surrounded herself with multi-cultural decor, always. She loved music and could play the ukulele, guitar, piano, and enjoyed making drums.
She also had begun to learn the Italian language. By nature, she loved teaching and always had solutions. She had a poetic way with words, loved writing, and authored more than one book. It brought her joy believing in people and investing in their dreams. She frequently sent serene pictures, inspirational messages, and offered baskets of little "feel good" gifts to many.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Louina Newsome; her brother, Brock Newsome; her maternal grandparents, Louis Rossi and Wanda Chandler Rossi; and her paternal grandfather Jack Newsome, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Perrenoud; daughter, Shauny Solinsky (Zach Boekholder); sons Bron Solinsky, Stetson (Courtney) Solinsky; stepson Jason (Autumn) Perrenoud; step- daughter, Christa Seguinot; father Jack (Julie) Newsome; brother Bart (Cami) Newsome; paternal grandmother Gene Newsome; She leaves behind her grandchildren Jager, Ruger, Jason, Max, Zoey and Jett. She also leaves behind aunts, uncle, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rebecca was absolutely adored, and always will be.
