Reid Marvin Jorgensen Obituary
Reid Marvin Jorgensen, 82, passed away surrounded by family and his love, Anne Eby, on Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home in Blackfoot, Idaho after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Reid was born December 10, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Leo and Bernice Jorgensen. Reid is one of 11 children.
Reid proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, station in Condon Oregon, from 1955 through 1959 as a Radar Technician.
Reid had several careers in his life time including working as a heavy equipment operator as a member of the Operating Engineers Union and Wada Farms later in life, he spoke often of his Wada Farms family and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. After retirement from the Union, Reid spent his winters in Quartzsite, AZ soaking up the sun, before returning to Idaho to enjoy the summer.  
Reid was known for his love of old cars, fishing and most of all his family and friends. Reid spent many hours in the garage with his sons "tinkering" and restoring cars. He spent countless hours on the bank of a river or in boats fishing with family and friends. 
Reid is survived by his son, Stewart (Dawn) Jorgensen of Kuna Idaho; grandson, Austin Holland of Dufur, Oregon; daughter, Annette Jorgensen (Dave) Wilson of Dufur, Oregon; grandsons, Michael Wilson and Jason Wilson of Spokane Washington; daughter, Darlene Jorgensen Mills of Boise, Idaho; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Andrew) Davis of Woodbridge, Virginia; son, Bryan (Lori) Jorgensen of Blackfoot, Idaho; granddaughter, Stephanie  Jorgensen (Chad) Morgan; great grandsons, Kaden Morgan, Marcial Morgan and Cole Morgan of Shelley, Idaho; granddaughter, Jessica Jorgensen; and great granddaughter, Elli Jorgensen of Sweden; granddaughter, Sabrina Jorgensen; and great grandson, Wyatt Yancey of Blackfoot, Idaho; grandson, Joshua (Brandie) Jorgensen; and great granddaughter, Remmie Jorgensen of Blackfoot, Idaho; daughter, Lori (Jim) Jorgensen Thomas of Elgin, Arizonia; granddaughter, Addrienne Leach (Cole) Reuter of Idaho Falls, Idaho; granddaughter, Sandy Malone (Joe) Hoskins of Chandler Arizonia; granddaughter, Michelle Malone of Chandler, Arizonia; granddaughter, Rachel Malone; and great grandson, Ian Malone of Idaho Falls, Idaho; son, Robert (Paula) Jorgensen; granddaughter, Hillary Noyes (Jeremy) Robinson; and great grandsons,  Jeremy Robinson Jr. and Chase Jorgensen all of Concord, North Carolina; daughter, Tammy Jorgensen (Jason) Gallegos; and grandson, Tyler Moore of Pocatello, Idaho.
Reid was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Bernice Jorgensen; sisters, Lois and Barbara; brother, Paul; and great grandson, Calvin Alexander Rueter, infant.
According to Reid's wishes, no funeral services are planned at this time. Family has been under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
