Ricardo Lopez Obituary
Our beloved father, husband, uncle, grandfather, and friend, Ricardo Lopez, returned to his Heavenly Father April 3, 2016 after a five year battle with prostate cancer.
Ricardo was born March 3, 1938 in San Angelo, TX. Growing up, Ricardo traveled to many different states with his late brother, Marcelino Lopez, until he met the love of his life. He and Clarice were married on April 13, 1961. After their marriage, they moved to Fort Hall, Idaho. There Ricardo built their family home, where he resided until his death.
Ricardo worked as a farmer for Loveland Farms until the start of his courageous battle.
He loved to read Louis L' Amour books and put together jigsaw puzzles. He also loved the outdoors, spending time camping, fishing, farming, and gardening. He especially enjoyed holding the reigns as the Lopez family horseshoe champ. More than anything, he loved his family; 6 children, 21 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was met at the Heavenly Gates by his parents Marcelino and Guadalupe, Arellia Lopez, sister Sylvia Alvarado, brother Marcelino Lopez, son Ricardo Lopez Jr., and daughters Rebecca Flores and Kimberly Evening.
He leaves behind his loving wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing services will be held at the Lopez residence Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 7-10 a.m. Church services will be held at The Good Shepard Mission in Fort Hall at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April, 6 2016.
