Robert Wacaster Obituary
Jan. 6, 1940 – Sept. 5, 2017
Robert was many things to many people. To his family he was a provider, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and brother. For us he was also a teacher, mechanic, fisherman, hunter, superhero, cheerleader, and animal lover.
He spent his life always giving to others and was loved deeply by his family. Robert enlisted in the United States Air force out of high school and later worked for Hughes Aircraft.
During his lifetime, he traveled extensively and visited not only many parts of the United States, but also a number of other countries. He had also established a contracting business as a house painter.
He spent his life taking care of his family, especially his wife of 56 years, Lucille. He was always there for us whether we were near, or far away. He will be deeply missed.
Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years (Lucille), his three children (Chris, Robert, Carl), his one granddaughter (Tiffany), his sisters (Bernice, Kathleen), his brothers (Dean, Don, Vern), and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Robert's life at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 100 S. 1050 W. in Thomas, Idaho.
