Roberta Southward Obituary
Roberta Ellece Southward, 76, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away at her home and was found Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017.
Ellece was born June 24, 1941 in Salt Lake City to Ellis Edward and Mabel Francis Garten Henry. She grew up in Farmington where she attended Davis High School.
Ellece owned and operated Ellie's Cafe in Roy, Utah and later worked for Basic American Foods where she retired.
Ellece enjoyed fishing, sewing, and baking pies. She loved creating custom wedding dresses and doing crafts. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Ellece is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ann Stone of Clinton, Utah; her sons, Shan Edward (Sandra) Stott of Layton, Utah, Larry Allen Stott of Henefer, Utah, Jerold Brent (Anjanette) Stott of Hooper, Utah and Donald Henry (Leonie) Stott of West Point, Utah; brother, Donald (Marie) Henry, Clearfield, Utah; sisters Judy Ann Turner, Myra Beth (Jim) Harned, and Linda Kay (Ron) Swan, all of Utah; 27 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dion Perry and Cleora Cuzick.
The family is under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot, Idaho. A celebration of life for Ellece will be held in Utah and announced at a later date.
