Rozilla (Berrett) Jorgensen Obituary
Rozilla Berrett Jorgensen, 84, of Pleasant Grove Utah, passed away peacefully at her son's home on Saturday November 29, 2014.
Rozilla was born on March 23, 1930 in Provo, Utah, to Edward Hyrum "Hy" Berrett and Amy Jackson. Her family moved to Pocatello, Idaho where she attended grade school and graduated from Pocatello High School. After graduation she attended Idaho State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree.
On August 26, 1955 she married Kay Simpson Jorgensen in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Moreland and raised their family there. She has lived in this area most of her life but has spent the last few years in Utah.
Rozilla was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she has served as a relief society and primary teacher. She worked in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for 5 years and served a mission along side her husband Kay in the West Charleston West Virginia Mission.
Rozilla worked in speech therapy for two years in McCammon and also in Pocatello and Salt Lake City. She also ran a daycare for ten years in Moreland, Idaho. Rozilla loved to quilt and crochet afghans. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother. Both Rozilla and her husband Kay were very charitable people and sponsored children overseas during the years of raising their own children. Rozilla was also a very accomplished singer.
Rozilla is survived by her children: Jill Jorgensen, of Pocatello, Paul Barton (Cindi) Jorgensen, of Hermisten, Oregon, Katherine (Merlin) David, of Pallos Verdes, California,  Shawn K (Karen) Jorgensen, of Willard Bay, Utah, Michell (Vanessa) Jorgensen, of Pleasant Grove, Utah; her brother David Hyrum Berrett, of Blackfoot, and 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 
She is proceeded in death by her husband Kay Simpson Jorgensen, her parents Edward "Hy" and Amy Berrett, and a brother Edward Jackson Berrett.
A funeral service will be held at the LDS Grove Ward, 455 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014. The family will meet with friends for a viewing at the church from 4 p.m. until time of services. An additional funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Blackfoot Northwest LDS Stake Center, 95 North 740 West Blackfoot, Idaho at 11 a.m. The family will meet with friends at the church for  an hour prior to the services. 
Interment will follow the service in the Moreland Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
