Veda Larue Haddon-Pannel Obituary
Veda Larue Haddon-Pannel 63 passed away on Feb. 11, 2016.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1953 to Charles Vernon Haddon and Cora Bell Wagner-Haddon in Ogden Utah. She was fourth oldest of 7 children and the oldest daughter.
She was raised in the Sunset/Clearfield area and spent many of her adult years in Ogden.
She married Michael Steggell and had four wonderful children, Michael Ray Steggell II, Charles N. Steggell, Chad Isom Steggell, and Deana Louise Steggell. They were later divorced.
She married Gene Dodd and had two beautiful twins, Gene Edward Dodd II and Jennifer Belle Dodd. They were later divorced.
She moved to Pingree Idaho in 1989 and then later to Blackfoot where she met and married the love of her life Vern K. Pannel. He brought 2 adorable children to the family, Soncere Marie Pannel and Mariah Hope Pannel, and their siblings Shilo Dawn Robinson and Mirrianda Ray Robinson. Daylene Wadsworth was her daughter by choice.
Veda also had 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Cora (Bell) Haddon, her husband Vern Pannel, her children Charles Steggel, Deana (Cesar) Castel, Gene Dodd, Soncere (Cody) Hjelm, Shilo (Shawn) Robinson, Mirrianda (Gary) Robinson and Daylene Wadsworth. Her siblings Mike (Joanne) Flynn, John (Sandy) Haddon, Sherry Bass, Deana (Darwin) Dayton, Bonnie Brakke, and her sister-in-law Gina Pannel  and Liz (Keith) Boyington and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles, her children Michael (Mikey), Chad, Jennifer and Mariah, her brother Robert (Bob) and her grandson Trevor.
Veda was raised in a large family and matriarch of one also. She loved fishing, hunting, all animals and spending time with her family and friends. She was a gentle soul with a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by many.
