Wanda "Alice" Mickelsen Obituary
Wanda "Alice" Mickelsen, 85, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Alice was born January 18, 1930 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Joseph W. Peterson and Sarah E. Palmer. She grew up in Thomas and attended school in Thomas.
On April 1, 1950 Alice married Lon Mickelsen in Pocatello, Idaho.
Alice and Lon owned Maple Street Laundry in Blackfoot. In her free time she loved to work in her yard and flower beds. 
Alice is survived by her children, Yonula (Harry) Katseanes of Groveland, Charlene Ann (Don) Dewey of Groveland and Delwyn Lon (Jane Pratt) Mickelsen of Blackfoot; sister, Delilah Walters of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lon; parents, Joseph and Sarah; brothers, Calvin and Joseph Petersen; sisters, Martha Dance, Josie Brown, Phelma Wood, Cleo Webb and four infant sisters; and one grandson, Rance Katseanes.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 and for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
