Frances Norrell (1919 - 2018)

Frances Norrell, 98 of Sunray, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 in the morning on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia and Father Ron Matthews as co-celebrants. Interment will follow in Lane Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 in the evening on Tuesday at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Sunray.

Frances was born on September 20, 1919, in Franklin, Louisiana to Joseph and Rosie (Faranella) Randoza. On December 25, 1937, Frances was united in marriage to Arvin Leo "Pete" Norrell. The couple would move to Sunray in 1947 where they would make their home and raise their family. Frances enjoyed crocheting and dancing in her younger years. She was an excellent homemaker whose house was always tidy and clean. Frances loved her church and was a charter member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Sunray. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Pete; one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons: Deacon Wayne Norrell and wife Rita of Sunray and David Norrell of Siloam Springs, AR; grandchildren: Mike Norrell and wife Leslie of Clarendon, TX, Michelle Weatherford and husband Melvin of Sunray, TX, Melinda Hatfield of Sunray, TX, Robby Lynn Mason of Sunray, TX, Melissa Johnson and husband Rusty of Hartley, TX, Todd Mason and wife Denise of Canyon, TX, Brandon Norrell and wife Vanessa of Siloam Springs, AR and Ashton Norrell of Denver, Co.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the comfort and care provided to Frances by Hope Flores, Anjelica Balderama, Becky Hackett, Josie Quintana, Julie Morales and the staff at Memorial Hospice.
